About M-Receptionist

M-Receptionist lets you to turn on / off the call forwarding, even if you
do not have your phone with you. M-Receptionist also sends you the “Call Log” (Dialed numbers, received calls and missed call) upon request.

M-Receptionist turns on/off “Call Forwarding” or sends you “Call log” through
SMS when it receives an SMS (with appropriate contents) from any mobile phone.

Security

This application is protected by a “PIN”. This application responds only to the SMSs with the correct PIN.

One time initial configuration Steps for M-Receptionist

  1. Specify the “PIN” of your choice.
  2. Specify the prefix code for activating “Call Forwarding”. This code is mobile operator specific. The default value “**21*” is for T-Mobile.
  3. Specify the post-fix code for activating “Call Forwarding”. This code is mobile operator specific. The default value “#” is for T-Mobile.
  4. Specify the code for cancelling “Call Forwarding”. This code is mobile operator specific. The default value “##21#” is for T-Mobile.
  5. Click “Done” button.

To Activate call forwarding when you do not have your phone

To activate “Call Forwarding”, Send an SMS from any phone to your phone with the content “<pin> acf <Phone Number>” without quotes, “<” and “>”. For example, if the configured PIN is 4321, following SMS would start call forwarding to 123456789:

4321 acf 123456789

To cancel call forwarding when you do not have your phone

To cancel “Call Forwarding”, Send an SMS from any phone to your phone with the content “<pin> ccf” without quotes, “<” “>”. For example, if the configured PIN is 4321, following SMS would cancel the call forwarding:

4321 ccf

To retrieve the call log when you do not have your phone

To get the “Call Log”, Send an SMS from any Phone to your phone with the content “<pin> scl <Number Of Entries>” without quotes, “<” and “>”. For example, if the configured PIN is 4321, following SMS would send you the last 10 call log entries:

4321 scl 10

To get help when you do not have your phone

To get help (if you forget the above commands), Send an SMS from any phone to your phone with the content “<pin> help” without quotes, “<” and “>”. Following SMS would send you the application usage:

4321 help
